The title of this blog comes from a "Slav-ish" mash-up of the words "good" and "works." One of the effects of the internet, is a.) an intense amount of navel gazing and b.) the ability to do more good with less. Now while some use this as proof of an incredibly self absorbed future, I'd like to think it means more "dobra" is always on the way.

I like Geeks. I like Geeky things. I like podcasts and I like to learn things. The Stuff You Should Know podcast from How Stuff Works is like a geeky eargasim. Although I'd heard rumblings of Kiva before, my first real understanding of just what this is came as a result of two Atlantians, Charles W. Bryant and Josh Clark on the SYSK podcast.
